EMDR Consultation - A Holistic, Collaborative Adventure

I am a Consultant-in-Training through EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) and am currently offering consultation to EMDRIA therapists that have completed their basic training and are working toward certification. As a Consultant-in-Training, you can use fifteen hours of our time together towards your EMDRIA certification.

My clinical practice and expertise includes anxiety disorders, men’s therapy, developmental trauma, addiction, and grief work. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist through EMDRIA, a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner, and hold NASW Certifications in Advanced Hospice and Palliative Care and Clinical Social Work in Gerontology as well as a Professional Educator’s License (PEL) in Illinois.

My approach is based in my experience with people across the lifespan, from adolescents to people with terminal illness. Mixing EMDR Therapy with elements of Brainspotting, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), I utilize a holistic mindset that allows for a deep connection with the self that is necessary for processing traumatic memories.

My personal background includes over 25 years of active participation in the substance abuse recovery community as well as over 20 years of personal mindfulness and meditation practice including formal training in Zen Buddhism. I believe that consultation should offer clinicians the opportunity for self-reflection and cultivating a level of comfort as an EMDR therapist, ultimately supporting you in finding your own voice as a practitioner.

I offer in-person consultation in West Belleville, IL (St. Louis area) or nationwide via Zoom.
