Christopher is a highly-trained and experienced trauma therapist and EMDRIA-certified consultant who has spent his career sitting with people in the most difficult moments of their lives—from hospice bedsides to the quiet aftermath of trauma. He is the owner of Covered Bridge Counseling in Belleville, Illinois, where he specializes in grief, OCD, trauma, and addiction recovery.

 

Blending EMDR, ERP, Brainspotting, and mindfulness shaped by years of Zen Buddhist training, his work focuses not just on symptom reduction, but on helping people face the deeper questions of suffering, meaning, and what it means to be alive. With 27 years of personal sobriety, his perspective is both clinical and deeply lived.
